We offer a variety of small Isuzu Power Unit Packages (60-83 HP, 45-62 kW) to fit most off site power needs (Compressor or Pump Configurations). Power Units are considered a separate engine package for stationary equipment at remote operation site locations. Power units are ideal for hydraulic pumps, drill rigs, irrigation systems, caissons, dredge pumps, air compressors, and mining sites. Packages vary but can include fuel tanks, air cleaners, skids, control panels, mufflers, and radiators. This particular SKU below is the most complete package. Generator sets can be tuned with a power unit however it is imperative to mention that generator engines use a fuel pump distinct to generator applications with HP ratings for prime, continuous, or standby power. Normally, industrial power units possess a fuel pump not rated for a fixed RPM application. Governors on generator engines are rated for a distinct duty cycle to sustain fixed RPM for clean electricity generation. Please Note: Units may be converted for a generator but we do not perform that work here. Reman Component Build Power Units include limited rebuilt and/or remanufactured components when needed but frequently they are non-critical wear parts such as aftercoolers, water inlet & outlet connections, exhaust manifolds, gears, gear housings, etc. Each build cycle we perform is different and follows compliance emissions/rebuilding standards governing re-use guidelines.
